Wetransfer.com on mobile. Last year i got the chance (well i still do) to work on a new native WeTransfer app. Having worked on Collect app by WeTransfer for a while we knew some of the people using the app just wanted to send big files from A - B. We listened to our people and gave them the WeTransfer app ‘reimagined’. Creative professionals use their mobile phone nowadays more and more for both reviewing work and to complete tasks on the go.

My role in the team is to lead the design work on iOS and Android and to make sure we deliver a smooth, cohesive and obvious experience to our users.

App features
The app lets you send and receive big filetypes when you’re on the go. You’ll get notified when you receive a transfer or if your sent transfer is downloaded. We released the app in October 2021 and the iOS app have already reached 7 million installs and 1.7 million monthly active users with an average of 4.6 stars.
